Context
The project started as an enrollment tool, then grew over the course of the work to also cover grading and parent-teacher communication.
Constraint
Absorb those new bounded contexts without the codebase turning into a single tangled module, and without a mid-project rewrite, while the scope kept expanding. On top of that came a constraint specific to every client: no school arrived with a clean slate. They all had tools already in place and years of data to keep, which had to be taken over rather than asking them to start again from nothing.

What shipped

Decisions
- Feature-based modules with explicit boundaries, so scope growth did not force a rewrite.
- A dedicated integration module, so a school could adopt the platform without abandoning its tools.
- Delivery sequenced so early modules ran in production while later ones were still being built.
Outcome
Significant scope growth absorbed without a rewrite, and a progressive rollout: the school started using the platform before the project was finished, keeping its existing tools and data.
