Mobile application giving German citizens access to municipal services: dog registration, local-event sign-up, personalised information.
Context
German municipal paperwork is still largely counter-and-paper. The Burger portal makes those services reachable from a phone.
Challenge
Expose heterogeneous municipal services behind a single secure interface, and exchange data with administrative systems that impose their own formats.
Solution
Java / Spring Boot back end with REST and SOAP APIs secured by Keycloak, React front end. In parallel, contributed to the Evia Supplier Declaration Portal: standardised formats for the electronic exchange of goods-origin information between businesses and administrations.
Outcome
Two portals delivered, covering citizen services and cross-border supplier-declaration exchange.
